WtdAvg

1. Description​

The WtdAvg Derivation Type is used to compute the weighted average of a field after data has been grouped based on the specified group-by keys.

3. Required Fields​

  • name: Output Field Name.
  • data_type: Output Field Type.
  • derivation
    • derivation_type: The derivation type used is "WtdAvg".
    • req_fields
      • Amount: Field name from the input metadata to be used as amount.
      • Rate: Field name from the input metadata to be used as rate.
      • Apply Exchange: Details of Apply Exchange are provided here: Exchange Rate
      • Operation: This parameter determines whether absolute or negative transformations are applied at the account level or group level.
